White Collar 1×01 – Pilot

So I’ve seen the show White Collar around, but never thought it would be something worth watching until a blog I visit quite often just raved about it. Curious, I found some time to take a peek at the Pilot episode.

I enjoy great caper-like robin hoodesque shows; Leverage is a great example of that. I also enjoy detective and crime solving shows; look at all the CSI I watch and honestly, I’d watch any random CSI wannabe show if I was bored. In addition, I really like having good looking eye candy on my shows; hello Nathaniel Archibald, Tim Riggins and Eliot Spencer. White Collar looks like it will be an excellent mix of all that together.

So the premise is simple – A good looking, well known con man (a ‘white collar’ criminal, therein lies the name) helps the detective who caught him solve other white collar crimes in exchange for not being sent back to prison, so he can solve a mystery of his own – the disappearance of his lady love. In this first episode, he helps to track down an art forger trying to cash in some old bonds.

Friday Night Lights 4×12 – Laboring

The little Riggins baby finally pops, but so does everyone’s dreams as the cops finally catch up with the Riggins boys. Tami’s still suffering backlash from helping Becky while Coach is just trying to keep his Lions going as they gear up to play the Panthers in next week’s finale episode. As the episode title implies, it’s an upward climb for everyone with very little light at the end of the tunnel in sight.

Leverage 2×12 – The Zanzibar Marketplace Job

Maggie makes a return as Nate and the Leverage team go to her aid when she gets framed. Also resurfacing from the woodwork… Sterling ( in the most awesome entrance scene ever!)

Lots of Eliot action in this one folks!

Leverage 2×11 – The Bottle Job

Irish mobsters try to take the bar which Nate lives above, and we find out quite a lot more about why Nate chose to live there in the first place and his secret history.

Friday Night Lights 4×10 – I Can’t

Becky makes a decision with a little help from Tim and Tami, Vince makes another bad, bad decision, while Tim tries to make a good one.

Friday Night Lights 4×09 – The Lights in Carroll Park

Little bit behind! Coach Taylor tries to do some good in this new community he’s now a part of, Vince tries to do some good himself, Julie does some good and gets a new love interest in return, and we have a pregnancy reveal, guess who?

Leverage 2×10 – The Runway Job

Leverage is finally back! Boy have I missed this show. I did a quick marathon over several evenings to catch up on the past 9 episodes from Season 2 just to recap.

In this episode, the team adjusts to having Tara around instead of Sophie, the team steals a fashion show and Eliot in GUYLINER. AHAHAHAHA

How I Met Your Mother 5×12 – Girls vs. Suits

HIMYM’s 100th episode and the musical episode! Well, episode with a musical number really, I was kinda hoping the characters would just randomly burst into song ala Dr Horrible, but well at least one number is better than nothing… Also, we get a foot closer (heh) to The Mother. Friday Night Lights 4×08 – Toilet Bowl

Happy new year everyone! Here’s the first episode of new TV that I’ve watched this year! In this episode, the Lions finally win a game over a team that’s actually worse than them, Jess chooses between Vince and Landry, and Tim tries to make his dream come true.
