omg what a season finale! it wasn’t a murder, but hell lots of exciting set-ups for Season 3. In this episode, Serena tries to uncover Gossip Girl, lots of people seem to be headed to NYU, and CHUCK-BLAIR FOR THE WIN, FINALLY!

The much vaunted Lily-centric flashback episode, wherein we get our first looks of the young and crazy Lily Rhodes that we’ve only speculated about so much. Also, it’s prom night, and Blair has the perfect night, well sorta…
It’s a whirlwind episode as theNon-Judging Breakfast Club (the awesome foursome!) reunite to take down one Poppy Lifton, with the help of the newly pious Georgina. And Serena gets arrested, omg! Also, the hearts of Chuck-Blair fans around the world BREAK.
It’s all about HRG this episode, he’s usually The Man, but this time his life is spiralling rapidly out of control. Meanwhile we learn of a Project Icarus, something that involves an abandoned building in the desert, and everyone converging there for things to happen.
Can I just say that I loved this episode – so many times I lol-ed! Serena’s new paramour seems too shady for Blair’s liking, resulting in a scheming plan with Chuck, which upsets poor lil’ Nate so much he BUYS A HOUSE. Meanwhile the Humphreys might be poor but they seem happy enough, and we see the return of Georgina. Hell yeah, this was an interesting episode!
It’s all about bonding in this episode – Claire and Nathan bond in Mexico, Peter and Angela make up in Church, Danko finds an unexpected new ally in Sylar.
